FISHING- AND KINGCRABSAFARI 

The sea off the coast of the Varangerpeninsula is teaming with spawning cod, cod, halibut and kingcrabs. On this trip, we fish for them, pulling them on board and sending all tastebuds skyhigh during the following meal. You will have excitement, salty seas and the worlds purest food on the table.

THE EXPERIENCE

We start out,  sailing straight for the best fishingspots on the Varanger trying our luck. Here we may catch several different kinds of fish, big or small, if the sea is willing. From the fishingspot, we continue out to the kingcrab traps, which are hopefully occupied by royal monster kingcrabs.  We promise goosebumps and adrenalin for all when the "brutes" come crashing in on deck with their prickely legs and full weight. Don't forget your camera at home! And brace yourself to join in at the work, cause here we need all hands on deck!

In the fresh air you'll work up a solid appetite, which we intend to do something about. We'll get the grill running, loading on kingcrabs and fish cheek to cheek on the coals. While the catch is cooking and all are looking forward to our meal, we sail back to the pontoon. Back at the pontoon, in calm and sheltered waters, we enjoy a lovely meal accompanied by suitable beverage and tall tales. Here you can indulge in a feastive and happy meal, in good company. The food may be gone once you're full, but you bring home the memories! What could be better than that?
